In Christ, forgiveness is the power tool to uproot bitterness. It is the door to healing; the window that allows light to brighten your soul. In Matthew 6:14, Jesus said, " For if you forgive men their sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."Forgiveness is giving up your right to demand payment or punishment of sin. It is letting go of your offender by saying, " He/she has no more sin against me." By this attitude, you are preventing demons of bitterness, and the desire to punish and curse from infesting your environment. Darkness could NOT come in to curse your offenders. By your forgiveness, you have protected them from being oppressed by demons. You have set them free from the demons of guilt, condemnation and curse. In a wider scale, you have set them free from also spreading pain or from offending others. This is the godly effect of forgiveness, which is the key to loving our enemies.

There may be legal entry points because of the inherited sin from any ancestors who have partaken of the same sin. Although we may repent and break it off our own life, it may still have legal right to oppress us because no one in the past generations ever covered it in the blood of Jesus and repented themselves.

We have included children in the witchcraft, generational, curses and religion prayers, as there may be times when well-meaning parents subjected their children to various sinful activities ignorantly. Children will still need to be accountable at some point in their life for their own sins committed. Although we are eternally saved at the cross the moment we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we need to confess and turn away from all things that are not of God.
  Any unyeilded area is legal ground for Satan. Any unforgiveness we hold toward another person is seen as an unyielded area, and is legal ground for Satan. When we don’t know the truth of God we are easy pickings for Satan.
 John3:21 But he that does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are worked in God. Our soulish areas need to be renewed in spirit and truth. Once the truth of Christ removes the lies and the old mindsets we can be truly free.

PRAYER POINTS
